Babies at Play was created by Paula Escobar a fashion designer and mother. Paula has had a successful career in the Fashion Industry as a designer and buyer for some of Australia’s biggest labels expanding over many years. At the Age of 29 she fell pregnant with her first child.

Unable to find a natural and easy to change bodysuit that was created using materials that were both sensitive to her young babies skin and environmentally friendly, she decided to create her own line of baby clothing that addressed all the issues that Mothers and Fathers had with baby clothing. “When I could not find an easy functioning bodysuit, I decided that I would create one that met my needs, a bodysuit that would help first time mothers and fathers with a quick and easy change.” She approached some friends with her idea and designs and together they managed to scrape together just enough money to begin production of her designs. In 2010 Babies At Play was born.
